Redecta Cookie Policy

Redecta uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the website, maintain security, and, where permitted, understand how the product is used.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to enable core functionality and provide basic information to site operators.

2. How we use cookies

Redecta uses cookies for the following purposes:

Essential cookies (always active): page navigation and core functionality, security and fraud prevention, and form submissions and session handling. Without these cookies, the website cannot operate properly.
Analytics cookies (optional): with your explicit consent, Redecta uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page performance, understand website usage, and improve the user experience.
Google Consent Mode is initialized with analytics storage denied by default. If analytics is rejected or consent is withdrawn, Redecta updates analytics consent to denied and attempts to remove existing Google Analytics cookies.

3. What we DO NOT do

Redecta is built with a privacy-first architecture.

We do not track personal identity across websites.
We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
The reviewed masking activity reporting flow does not send original prompt content or original value mappings as service metadata.
In supported protected flows, Redecta replaces detected sensitive values with masked placeholders before requests are sent to supported AI platforms.
Local-first data protection: sensitive data processed by Redecta is handled locally in the user environment.
Original value mappings are stored locally in the browser. Redecta processes masking activity metadata, such as detected mask types and counts, to operate the service. The reviewed masking activity reporting flow does not include original prompt content or original value mappings.
In supported protected flows, successfully masked sensitive values are replaced with placeholders before the request is sent to the AI platform.

4. Third-party services

If enabled, Redecta uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, for optional website analytics.

When analytics is enabled, Redecta sends limited website analytics events to Google Analytics 4.
Page view events include the page path and page location.
Successful lead form events include the form source value.
Google provides the Google Analytics service under its own privacy terms.

5. Managing your preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time:

Through the cookie banner settings.
Via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
By adjusting your browser settings.
You can withdraw your consent at any time.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
